Happy to show us beautiful pictures of his daughter's weddings , grandkids and "grand-puppies" . He was a kind man , very smart and always willing to answer questions. His presence will be missed greatly.

James E. Stahl, 63, passed away on April 23, 2022 surrounded by his wife and children after a tough battle with Cruzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). Jim was born on October 14, 1958, to Margaret Weidman and the late Henry Stahl. He married the love of his life and best friend, Diane Novotny, on June 6, 1981, with whom he went on to raise four daughters. Jim was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and a beloved grandfather and friend. After graduating from Scoharie High School in 1976, he went on to graduate from Suny Cobleskill in 1978 with an Associate’s Degree in computer science. He spent many years as a computer programmer, quickly becoming an expert in his field working within various insurance companies including Blue Shield and with Farm Family for the past 15 years. Jim was a loving husband and father. He could always be found at any one of his many daughters sporting events, never missing a game. He was the kind of man you could ask anything of and always count on. Those that met Jim quickly found out he was a father to four girls as his face lit up whenever he spoke about his family. In recent years, he was blessed with 3 grandchildren with whom he loved spending time with. His family will remember all the laughs, support and love he gave during his life. At the age of 19, Jim found his second love, skydiving. With over 40 years of experience and almost 12,000 jumps, saying he loved the sport is an understatement. He began this journey at the Albany Skydiving Center and in 2001 he partnered with a few close friends and opened Mohawk Valley Skydiving. Jim would spend as much time as he could up in the skies. In more recent years, Skydive the Ranch became his skydiving home. He had many accomplishments throughout his skydiving career, including multiple photo publications in magazines, helping with the West Point Parachute Team, competing in the USPA Nationals, and jumping into Elms Farm with Santa and the Elves, along with jumping into many sporting events and celebrations. Jim was more than just the camera man, he was a man of expertise, encouragement, and guidance. Jim utilized his talent and passion as the proud owner of Lenshead Aerial Services. He was someone to go to if you needed an ear to listen, a good laugh, or just a cold beer. He will be greatly missed by all of his skydiving family. Predeceased by his loving father, Henry (Claudette) Stahl. To continue his memory is his wife, Diane Stahl; Daughters: Kimberly (Ethan) Crofut, Caitlin (Camren) McKenna, Jenn Stahl, Christina (Mike) Gerasia; Grandchildren: Kaiden, Greyson, Maya; Mother, Margaret (Ellery) Weidman; Brothers: Jeff (Manuela) Stahl, Joe (Brenda) Stahl; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. on Thursday, April 28th from 5 to 8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 AM on Friday, April 29th at the Glenville Funeral Home. Burial at St. Anthony's Cemetery will follow service. My Tribute Gift Foundation makes this online charitable giving portal web page MyTributeGift.org (the “Website”) available to you subject to your acceptance of and compliance with these terms of use (the “Terms of Use”). Your donation will be processed through My Tribute Gift Foundation for distribution to your selected charity. Your credit card transaction record will appear as My Tribute Gift Foundation. An official tax receipt for your donation will be issued by My Tribute Gift Foundation. Donations are sent out to charities at the end of each month for all donations received in that previous month. So a donation made on the first day of the month would be sent at the same time as one made on last day. Payments would be sent either by paper check or direct deposit. Please note that the there is 3% + 35¢/transaction fee for credit card processing, My Tribute Gift Foundation collects a 5% administrative fee. These fees help fund the cost of processing all donations, issuing tax receipts, and sending all appropriate information to the selected charity. These fees are assumed by your selected charity, but you will receive a receipt for the full amount of your donation. There are NO additional costs the charity has to endure to participate and accept donations through MyTributeGift.org. According to the American Institute for Philanthropy (charitywatch.org) a charitable organization is considered “Good” if they are spending less than 30% on administration and fundraising costs. My Tribute Gift Foundation helps reduce those administrative costs for charities and allows donors to contribute to lasting memorials for their loved ones.
When donating online, if the donation form has an option to add a tip, there is no convenience fee. The tip is optional and can be adjusted before you submit your donation. The amount of the tip will be displayed to you before you confirm the charge to your payment card. Tips are in addition to the donation amount, so they do not affect the amount that goes to the charitable organization. Under IRS and CRA rules, tips are not tax deductible to the donor.
You warrant and represent that all information and materials you provide to My Tribute Gift Foundation, through the Website or otherwise, are accurate and truthful and do not violate third party rights. Indemnity. YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE FOUNDATION PARTIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, SUITS AND PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY (COLLECTIVELY "CLAIMS") ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THIS SITE IN BREACH OF THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE INFRINGEMENT BY YOU OF ANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF ANY PERSON OR ENTITY, INCLUDING ALL LOSSES, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING ALL LEGAL FEES) ARISING FROM SUCH CLAIMS.
If in any part of these Terms of Use is held, by a court of competent jurisdiction, to be invalid or unenforceable, such part of these Terms of Use shall be eliminated to the extent permitted in that jurisdiction, for purposes of that jurisdiction, and the remaining Terms of Use shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms of Use and your use of the Website are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and all federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of the Province of Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms of Use or your use of the Website.
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and My Tribute Gift Foundation with respect to the Website, except as we may explicitly agree otherwise in writing.. No delay or failure to exercise any right with respect to these Terms of Use shall be construed as a waiver by My Tribute Gift Foundation.
As a donor, you are responsible for researching the charity, understanding how your money will be used, and understanding the tax implications of your donation. We will email you a receipt, but the deductibility of your donation depends on your individual tax situation. We are not financial, tax, or legal experts. Please do not rely on our information to make decisions about your finances, taxes or legal matters. Consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Participating organizations have chosen to actively participate in the “Sponsor Program” to be represented in the Sponsor Charity array in an effort to increase their exposure and the opportunity for more memorial donations to be made to their organization. A rate structure is agreed upon and assessed on each donation processed through that program according to each organization’s individual agreement. Giving through that program has helped many organizations realize a drastic and significant increase in net donations.
If a donation form has a line item of Convenience Fee. The Convenience fee is displayed to you prior to approving the charge to your payment card. The convenience fee is in addition to the donation amount, so they do not affect the amount reaching the charitable organization. For example, a $100 donation becomes a $101.50 transaction. The convenience fee is directed immediately to a for-profit service provider. According to IRS and CRA rules the tax deductible receipt will therefore only be issued for the subtotal amount.
My Tribute Gift Foundation seeks to distribute all funds to organizations provided they have maintained active 501c3 certification in the United States or registered charity status in Canada. MTG relies on the beneficiary organizations to maintain and keep up to date contact information on file with the IRS or CRA respectively. This must be done in order for My Tribute Gift Foundation to exercise care and reasonable efforts to distribute payment promptly, without undue cost and burden to the foundation. In the event that a payment has not been deposited 12 months from issuance, the foundation reserves the right to utilize those funds in its mission to the foundation.
My Tribute Gift Foundation reserves the right to modify, change, discontinue and suspend these Terms of Use, the Website, and/or any services offered through the Website, in whole or in part, at any time, without prior notice to you. Your continued access or use of the Website after modifications to these Terms of Use have been posted on the Website shall indicate your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by these Terms of Use as modified. It is your responsibility to review these Terms of Use regularly.
