Obituary of Marie C. Kuzia

Marie C. Kuzia, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2016 at Kingsway Arms. Born in Amherst, MA she was the daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Joy.   Marie was a 1947 graduate of Amherst High School and a 1950 graduate of North Hampton Commercial College. Marie married her beloved husband Stanley Kuzia on June 9, 1951 at St. Brigid's Church in Amherst, MA. Following their wedding they then moved to Ballston Lake where they remained lifelong residents. Marie worked at General Electric from 1951 to 1956, but ultimately decided to leave the company and become a home maker and raise her family. Marie’s greatest joy in life was her family. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor as well as being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  Marie and her family enjoyed vacationing on the Cape Cod shores in Wellfleet, MA for 56 years. Marie was a longtime parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville, as a well as Our Lady of Lourdes in Wellfleet, MA. She also was a longtime member of the Home Bureau Crafter Schenectady Chapter and was an avid volunteer at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Center in Schenectady.   In addition to her husband Stanley she is survived by her daughters Linda and Dianne and her husband Shawn. She is also survived by her grandchildren Zachary, Amanda, Kylie and Nolan. Marie was predeceased by her son David and her sisters Rita and Corrine.   Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
