William C. Ingles Sr. 94, passed away at his home May 4, 2018. Bill was lovingly surrounded by his family.
Born in Whitehall, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Bernadette Beaudoin Ingles. Bill moved to Schenectady. He was a proud army veteran of WWII. Prior to his military service from 1941-1945 he worked in the Power Department of ALCO. When the plant closed he was asked to stay on by G.E., staying on with the company until 1989. He started at a young age learning the business with his stepfather, John Yell, growing up in Whitehall.
Over the years five generations of families were served personally by Bill Ingles.
