I met Dennis during my start working for Tax and Finance, and was immediately struck by his honesty and his sense of humor. I'll never forget our bus trip to see the Yankees, the Secret Santa hilarity (World of Warcraft?) or our time hanging out in Saratoga. We are all saddened by his passing.

I first met Dennis when he arrived in the Database unit at the Tax Department many years ago. I took an instant liking to Dennis because of his sweet disposition, his willingness to be of help, and his quirky sense of humor. As the mother of six, including four sons, I felt a certain closeness to Dennis as he was about the age of my youngest son, and reminded me very much of him. I considered myself his “work Mom”, and was always happy to be available when he was seeking advice or direction. Since I have been retired for almost eight years, I had lost contact with Dennis, but was deeply saddened to hear of his passing at such a young age. I am arranging to have a Mass offered for the repose of his beautiful soul.

Dennis, I’m sorry Susan and I didn’t find out about your son soon enough to visit Glenville and offer our condolences in person. I think the first time we met Dennis was when you invited us to his high school graduation party where you rented a boat on Lake George. I was able to see then that he was a fun loving person who had a lot of friends, and you were very proud of his graduation. I didn’t know him that well, but during the short time he was employed at WeldComputer it was apparent he was able to learn new things quickly, did high quality work and everyone enjoyed working with him. These are things we will always remember.

Dennis was always the type of guy who would help if you asked him to and would never ask anything in return. I am very grateful to have known him and appreciate the time we had together.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Dennis for several years when we both worked at the Tax Department.
Dennis was the type of person that made work a fun place to be. He had a unique way of telling stories that made those of us around him stop, listen, and laugh.
When my car wouldn't start after work one day, he ran out to the parking lot, and while acting like a member of Kevin Harvick's pit crew, gave it his best effort to get my car running again. Dennis was always willing to help out.
I'm glad that I had the opportunity to know him. He made a positive impact on others, and has left behind many happy memories.

I knew Dennis from the Harry Potter parties. He was a great favorite with the kids as an impressive Viktor Krum. I will always remember him in that role.
