Obituary of Brennan Nicholas VanSchaick

Brennan Nicholas VanSchaick, 22, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2018. Born on May 8, 1996 in Niskayuna; he was the cherished son of James VanSchaick and Jennifer Brundige. 

A 2014 graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School; where he played varsity football and wrestling. Brennan was an avid outdoors man, he especially enjoyed fishing. He was passionate for his work as a mechanic being a car enthusiast. Above all, Brennan loved his family; he had an incredible bond with his brothers. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh and huge heart; his generosity and kindness will live on in those who knew him.

Brennan is survived by his father James (Julie Pearce) VanSchaick and his mother Jennifer Brundige; beloved brothers, Mitchell (Kassie Gonyea) and Garett VanSchaick; grandparents William Brundige and Janet Near, Karen McGarvey and Paul and Linda VanSchaick; great grandmother Ruth VanSchaick as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his step father Matthew Hentnik.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday September 9, 2018 from 1pm to 4pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road. Funeral services will follow at 4pm at the funeral home with Rev. Deron Milleville, officiating. Burial will take place privately at the Galway Cemetery.
