Obituary of Larry W. Pattee
Larry W. Pattee, 60, of Scotia passed unexpectedly on September 18, 2018. Born in Schenectady, NY; he was the son of the late William and Christine (Wickham) Pattee. A 1976 graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School; his beloved hometown became the place where he would raise his own family.
Later in life, Larry attended Schenectady County Community College, where he studied Nursing. He was self employed as a Painter for many years and coached Highland Soccer in his spare time. A longtime member of St. Joseph’s Church of Scotia. Larry also taught Vacation Bible School.
Throughout his life he enjoyed learning new things and exploring the outdoors. He was an avid camper and hiker, and frequently fished on Sacandaga Lake.
Larry would often cook and garden, he took pleasure in both activities and was also very good. He loved dogs, especially his loyal canine companion, Barker. Above all, he loved his children more than anything.
Survivors include his children, William Pattee (Sarah) and Olivia Pattee; brother, Bradley Pattee; sister, Janine (Frank Stekeur) Pattee; nieces Lydia an Adina Mossa; Mother of his children, Michele Pattee; and Barker— his beloved dog.
