Obituary of Dolores Gladys MaLossi

Dolores Gladys MaLossi, age 88, passed away peacefully in hospice care at the Carlyle assisted living facility in Bedford, NH on November 2, 2018. Dolores had been married to Leo Italio MaLossi for close to 60 years before he passed away in 2011. They resided for 45 years in Glenville, where they raised their children.
Dolores is survived by the following; Two sons, Scott MaLossi of Schenectady, NY and Chris MaLossi of East Greenbush, NY; Two daughters, Erica Moss of Austin, TX and Liane MaLossi Kerbyson of Hopkinton, NH; Two granddaughters, Erin Warner of Smyrna, GA and Rebecca Janssen of Wausau, Wisconsin. Dolores and Leo raised Erin and Rebecca after the death of their mother, Cheryl (MaLossi) Warner in 1989. Also included are the three children of Liane and her husband, Rodney; Sydney Kerbyson, Noah Kerbyson and Myah Kerbyson of Hopkinton, NH and one great grandchild, Lily Rabern, daughter of Erin, of Smyrna, GA. 
Dolores was a loving wife and mother who gave to her community in many ways. She was active in Welcome Wagon and several times the president of the Louise Beebe Wilder Garden Club, and was a key participant in creating the beautiful Veteran’s park next to the Schenectady Airport. 
Dolores was born, the youngest of 6, in Montreal, Canada on October 17th, 1930 to Leonard and Isabella Lockett. She attended business school where she earned an associates degree and became an executive secretary. She and Leo were married in 1951 and were partnered in community theatre together while raising their children. 
Dolores will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her. She was a person of incredible spirit and deep generosity.
Services will be held at the Glenville Funeral Home with viewing hours on Thursday, November 8th from 6pm – 8pm and funeral services at 10am Friday, November 9th. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Saratoga National Cemetery.
