Obituary of Marcia J. Bobik

Marcia J. (Bala) Bobik, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 8. Born in Schenectady, she graduated from Linton High School, Schenectady County Community College and Ellis Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a Registered Nurse in geriatric care in the area for over thirty years. After growing up in Schenectady, Marcia resided in Rotterdam, Scotia and finally Glenville. 

Survivors include her partner David Hughes, daughter Patricia Sezna and her husband Steven of Los Angeles, CA, sister Barbara Lawton and her partner Jack Hurley of Duanesburg, grandsons Christopher Bobik of Schenectady and Randall Bobik of Clinton, stepdaughters Amy Ovitt of Cropseyville and Megan Hughes of Watervliet, their mother Cynthia Halley of Schenectady as well as several nieces, nephew and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Stephen M. Bobik, stepson Mark Hughes and her parents Stephen and Frances (Cichy) Bala.
