Obituary of Donna Jean Forringer

Donna Jean Forringer passed away at home peacefully on December 25, 2018, following a short illness. Donna was born 85 years ago to R.K. and Alice Keefer in Clarion, PA.  She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, John Forringer in June 2008 and her sister, Glenna Keefer of Punxsutawney, PA in May 2013. Donna received her RN degree from Butler Hospital Nursing School. Donna and John were married on March 6, 1954. She truly lived life to its fullest raising her three children, working as a nurse, church volunteer and being a strength to her family.  In later years, she and John traveled in their van enjoying all the natural wonders across the country.

Donna took enormous fulfillment spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved them dearly.

She is survived by her son, Jon Forringer and his wife Johanna, daughter, Kathleen Erbach and her husband, Steve and daughter, Susan Forringer and her life partner, Edward Pokrzywka. She leaves a legacy of ten grandchildren and nine cherished great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday (Dec. 28) 2018 at 2 PM in the Glenville Funeral Home chapel, 9 Glenridge Rd. (Town Center) with  Matt Hopkins, officiating. A calling hour will be held from 1-2pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
