Obituary of Alexandria Christensen

Alexandria (Sandy) Christensen, 79, of Glenville, passed away suddenly at Ellis Hospital on Saturday, December 29, 2018. Sandy was born in Schenectady on November 27, 1939 and was a 1958 graduate of Draper High School.  Sandy married her beloved husband Evan E. Christensen Jr. on July 22, 1961 and together they lived in Rotterdam for 38 years before moving to Glenville in 1998. Sandy and Evan loved to spend their summers on Cape Cod and after Evan's retirement they enjoyed the winter months in Myrtle Beach and Florida where they loved going to the NASCAR races.  Sandy was also a devoted Boston Red Sox Fan.  Sandy was predeceased by her parents, Fredrick and Leona Brown, her beloved husband Evan E. Christensen Jr (2007) and infant daughter Patricia A. Christensen. Sandy is survived by her loving daughter Shelly and her husband Bruce of Burnt Hills, adoring grandchildren, Evan Burchhardt and Morgan Burchhardt of Burnt Hills whom she was so proud of and loved very much.  Sister-in-law, Nancy Fleming of Rotterdam and cousin Jean Buck of Lititz, PA.  Aunt of Diana (Allan) Moldoff, Doris (Michael) Monro, Donna (David) Haughey, Allison (Dhiren) Patel.
