Obituary of Claude Venditti

Claude Venditti, 89, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2019 with his family at his side.  Born in Arpino, Province of Frosinone, Italy on February 17, 1929.  He was the son of the late Valentino and Adelina (Polsinelli) Venditti.   He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-54.
He emigrated to the United States with his family in 1935.
Claude was united in marriage on May 3, 1958 to Rose Cuda.

He was a self-employed real estate appraiser. Claude was involved with various community organizations where he donated his time and talents to help others. He was an avid cartoonist/artist and a passionate golfer.  Claude will forever be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, and quick wit which will be greatly missed.  

He was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception where he served as Eucharistic Minister.

He was predeceased by:Valentino and Adelina Venditti, and sister Mary Rayner.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Rose Venditti
Children:  Thomas Venditti, Annamaria and spouse Kevin West, Claudia and spouse David McCabe, Beth and spouse David Silberstein

Grandchildren: Sophia Venditti, Lydia Venditti, Gabriela Venditti, William Williams, Sarah Williams, Rachel Williams, Mickenzi Schank, Maya Schank, Madeleine McCabe, 
Brother: Pio Venditti and sister in law Patty Venditti, and numerous nieces and nephews.
 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 14, 10:00 am at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd. Glenville with the Rev. Jerry Gingras officiating.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited and may also call on the family Sunday (January 13) from 3-5 PM at the GLENVILLE FUNERAL HOME, 9 Glenridge Rd. Scotia-Glenville, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made in Claude Venditti's name to: The Church of the Immaculate Conception and Friends of Musoma Society, which is a local organization run by volunteers that provides education sponsorships, improvements to sanitation and water sources, mosquito nets, medicines, and other needed projects.
