Marlene you were always considered more to me than my Mom's best friend and you were loved by all of us. The Pastores and the Page's all grew up together with what I consider to be very fortunate to be a part of. You were always kind considerate loving and helped all us kids grow into adulthood. When we lost Ralph in 97 I was devastated and he is and always will be in my heart along with my Mom and Dad Russ and Harriet Page. Ah but my heart is full of joy knowing that your all together in heaven and having a grand time. The gatherings house party's and just dropping in for a cup of joe and conversation will always be memories that I will cherish for many years to come. God Bless you

I had only known Marlene for but a few short months. Working in the field of human services I had been personally given the responsibility of providing her with transportation in times of need. From my very first trip with Marlene I realized this responsibility to in fact be a that blessing that I had been gifted. She had a kind & welcoming soul, to say the very least. While I would much like to write that I knew her well, it would not be true. However what I do know is that I will greatly miss her company. My existence was enriched most certainly enriched by the time I spent with Marlene, short as it may have been. I believe that offers an honest testament to her genuine, kind hearted character. I am proud to do the work that I do if it means that I have been of any service to a person as wonderful as Marlene.

My sincere condolences to Marlene's family. I always enjoyed our phone conversations when Marlene called the Wellness Van for rides to her appointments. She was always so pleasant and kind.
