I spent half of my young childhood at the Edwards home, visiting my friend Stephanie and listening to her mom, Ruth, sing as she did household chores. (She apparently didn't think MY mom--her best friend in later years--did well enough on those chores: she always made me take my socks, allegedly dirty, off before I gained entrance to her super-clean floors.) Such a warm heart will not be forgotten by all of us whose lives she touched. My "thoughts and prayers," as they say
nowadays, as well as tears and memories, go out to her kids, all her friends, her church, and the Genville community. A strong life spirit!
