Although we haven't seen Mary, Tom, or their wonderful kids for several years I have thought of them often. Mary has always been a really wonderful person-a joy to visit with, and I can't tell you how shocked I was to see she had passed away last week. It is always so sad to see such a young person pass away, but in Mary's case it wasn't just the age but the vibrancy and happiness which I associate with her-she was just a blast to be around.
I guess the one thing that alleviates the sorrow is the fact that Mary truly seemed to have this ability to really live, and in her fifty-some years on this planet I think experienced more than many who live to a ripe old age.
To Tom, Caroline and Catherine, Jean, Sally, Anne, and Nancy, we are all so sorry.
