Obituary of Jeffrey Alan Melber

Jeffrey A. Melber, 65, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2019 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Richard Melber and Dorothy Daley Melber Binan. Jeffrey was a 1972 graduate of Burnt Hills High School. He proudly defended his country in the US Navy. In 1995 Jeff graduated from HVCC with a degree in nursing. He worked at various places such as Sunnyview and St. Peter’s Hospital. Jeff enjoyed golfing, bowling, skiing and watching football. Above all he enjoyed the time spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was predeceased by his wife Kelly Riley Melber who passed in 2006.

He is survived by his children Kailey and Nicholas Melber. His sister Patricia (Robert) Case and several nephews also survive.

Committal services will be held on Monday April 1, 2019 at 9:30am at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road Schuylerville, NY 12871. Those wishing to attend please meet at the gates of the cemetery by 9:15am.
