Obituary of Rose Hickok

Rose Marie Hickok passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at her home in Maryland. Born in Schenectady, NY in 1927, she was the daughter of the late John and Adela Kapusta. Rose Marie was the beloved wife of the late Robert Lyman Hickok Jr., also from Schenectady. She is the adored mother of Robert Hickok III and his wife, Elizabeth, Susan Hickok Hilton and her husband, Spence, and Sandra Hickok Spalletta. She is the cherished grandmother of Douglas and Rebecca Hilton, and Gavin and Jonathon Spalletta. Rose Marie is survived also by her sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, and brother-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, all of whom were precious to her. A graduate of Nott Terrace High School, Rose Marie spent her life as a homemaker, for which her family is extremely grateful. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd, Glenville NY (across from Target), With Rev. Jerome Gingras officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie. There will be no prior calling period.
