Lorraine was such a wonderful woman. I met her at Immaculate Conception back in 2016 when I was going to be confirmed. Lorraine knew my sponsor through church as well. Two years later in 2018, I started working at Judson Meadows as the 2nd floor Housekeeper, and I cleaned Lorraine’s room weekly. Each week she’d invite me to eat (very delicious) banana bread after I finished cleaning. We talked and talked, and one week she asked me if I remember her from church, to which I said I did— and we talked for another hour about faith. She adored my confirmation name, Christine. I miss those talks, but I know she’s in a good place with no suffering. Her spirit is still alive and spreading love still to this day. God bless.
