Obituary of Audrey Elaine Spohn

Audrey Elaine Spohn (Damon, Craig, Wright), 82 years old, of Saratoga,NY, passed away on June 18, 2019, at Saratoga Hospital after a brief illness. A private family funeral will be held on Monday July 1, 2019 at Memory Gardens. Glenville Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. 

Audrey was a native of Nunda, NY, born August 8, 1936 to Merton Spohn and Dorothy Cassidy. Audrey was raised in Nunda, NY by her paternal grandparents Wells and Charlotte Spohn. She loved helping her grandparents on the farm and she had many fond memories playing with the farm animals. 

Audrey loved traveling and living in many different places throughout her life; including, Albany, North Carolina and Florida. Most recently she resided at Wesley Senior Care Facility in Saratoga Springs NY, where she received the best of care.

She was a woman who believed in love and her vibrant personality and charm mesmerized many who met her, even into her later years. 

Audrey loved the outdoors, whether it was at the seaside or in a beautiful garden she appreciated the beauty of life.   

Audrey is survived by her two daughters Cheryl Damon and Melanie Ramsey, grandchildren Samantha Ramsey, Joshua Ramsey and Nicholas Franco. Audrey is pre-deceased by her daughter Debra Kay Damon.

Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.
