Steve was a good man who loved his family dearly. He embodied honor, integrity and steadfast values. He was many things to many people. To me, he was my Uncle. I learned alot from him and I will continue to carry what I learned from him forward. I'll do my best to honor his memory every day, in how I carry myself forward. You will be missed and were loved.

Steve was a colleague and friend. Or a fuzzy headed brother from another mother. Well, neither of us had much fuzzy. I was saddened to hear he had left us. Even during his illness he remained Steve, funny, positive and caring.
I will be with my family this weekend and will not be able to attend his memorial. I think he'd approve.
See ya Steve.

Steve will be missed and always loved and cherished by me ! He and I discussed on many occasions of how he was the son that I never had. He was a great father and husband ! He loved his girls with all his heart !
He was a great and caring son in law and deserved much better than he got ! I love you and will miss our conversations and your calls to me on special days of my life. Walk with GOD my sweet Angel !!!

Steve and I were teenagers when we met. A mutual friend introduced us at a local disco. We really hit it off and quickly became friends. He was so much fun to be around, always cracking jokes. The life of the party! He could dance like no other. After a few years, I moved away. I heard he got married and had a daughter.
In 2008, to my suprise, he reached out to me on Facebook. It was like no time had passed at all. We caught up on life and kept in contact. I am so glad we were able to reconnect. Our friendship really meant a lot to me. He will be greatly missed. Your family remains in my prayers.

Steve was my son-in-law when he was married to my stepdaughter, Krista, and they lived in Alabama. From 1996 to 2004, my husband and I spent a lot of time with Steve, Krista, Stephanie and Kaitlyn. After him and Krista divorced and he moved to New York, we didn’t see him but I always considered him family and loved him. My condolences go out to the family.

Steve was a very good friend to me in the 1980's!!! He was a strong man with a strong sense of doing the right thing! I lived with Lillian and he for a time and we laughed together often. I specifically remember watching the Jerry Lewis telethon together and an act with monkeys came on. Steve and I kept saying, monkeys! monkeys! monkeys!. Lillian told us we were stupid as she laughed at us!! He had a strong sense of taking care of his family against all and especially loved Stephanie!! I will miss him! Rest in peace friend!!!
