Obituary of David William Huxhold
David William Huxhold, 59, passed peacefully on July 17, 2019. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 20, 1959 to the late William and Yvonne (Vilendrer) Huxhold.
A 1977 graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, David then went on to receive his Associates Degree. He worked for General Electric for many years as an Electrical Engineer.
He enjoyed being outdoors and riding his Harley Davidson. Many fond memories were made on camping trips. Above all, his most precious moments were with his family who he loved beyond anything else.
Survivors included his loving children, daughter, Harley and son, Luke; sisters, Cheryl and Kristy Huxhold; brother, Scott Huxhold; beloved canine companion, Kai; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, July 21st from 2 to 4 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. A Celebration of Life will follow on Sunday at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham NY 12110.
