Obituary of Aniela Pisarczyk

Aniela Pisarczyk passed away peacefully on August 21, 2019 at the age of 92, at the Treasure Coast Hospice, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Aniela was born in Dabrowa Tarnowska, Poland, on January 3, 1927. She was happily married to Jozef Pisarczyk for 65 years until his death in 2010.  She is survived by her 5 children, Michael Pisarczyk (Teresa), Christine Obara (Joe), Sophia Freiman, John Pisarczyk (Tara) and Irene Pisarczyk; her 10 grandchildren, Steven Obara (Zoe), Debrianna Obara, Jennifer Salinas (Alex), Christopher Pisarczyk, Thomas Pisarczyk (Claudia), Holli Phillion (Michael), Matthew Freiman (Michelle), David Freiman, James Pisarczyk and John Charles Pisarczyk; and her 6 greatgrandchildren, Chloe Obara, Clay Obara, Aniela Salinas, Karina Salinas, Cristian Salinas and Ava Pisarczyk.  She is also survived by one sister, Emilia Mendala, age 94. 

Aniela adored her family.  Her greatest pleasure was in hosting large holiday family meals.  She exceled in cooking, particularly Polish foods and desserts, always incorporating produce from her own vegetable garden.  Aniela also loved to grow flowers and was rightfully proud of her stunning array of beauties.  She was an avid Mets fan and enjoyed playing cards with the family, as well as Dominos, at which she always seemed to win.  She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and greatgrandmother.  Rest in peace our dearly beloved……………You have our eternal love. 

Calling hours for Aniela will be held on Friday August 30, 2019 from 6-8pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. A Mass on Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 31,2019 at 10am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Road Glenville. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
