I will always remember Kathy’s extraordinary commitment to her students at Joseph Henry Elementary. If long hours and diligent effort could help fix a problem, Kathy was ever willing to pay that price. I still use one of her expressions, “You can lead a horse to water, you can even stick his nose in it, but you can’t make him drink”. But Kathy never stopped trying.
I also remember how much she loved and was proud of her family and their accomplishments. It was heartwarming to hear her tell about their latest achievements. She was a woman of many interests, and she relished them all, from reading to restauranting to church to family. She will be much missed.
