My sincere condolences to the family. MR Russo did not look much different in person at 90 years than his picture in the obituary! He always astounded all of us at Scotia Glenville Family Medicine with his agile way and young looks. Your mom and dad were admired by all who interacted with them at our office, including me. The dedication they showed each other was inspiring.
I received the mailboxes on my desk this week and figured it was your dad’s way of saying “goodbye”. My intentions were to stop by the nursing home in the coming days only to see his obituary in the paper today.
I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to see him, but so happy he is with the love of his life, Mrs Russo. It was a true honor to care for Mr Russo before he went to the nursing home. The Russo name will always bring a smile to my face.
I am sorry for the family’s loss.
