So sorry to read about Jim's passing. I will never forget the bicycle trips we took together with VBT, in the US, Canada, Austria and Italy. We had lots of exercise, and lots and lots of laughs. At the time, Jim was really into fire hydrants, we have several pictures of Jim with some of these. We also had fun getting lost, sometimes together! Neither of us had a good sense of direction. But the tour guides always found us, eventually. And then there was the wine. After a long grueling ride (Jim got a ride, I think), I get into town at our hotel for the night, and there was Jim, sitting at the front door, with a newly opened bottle of red, waiting for me to join him. And then we would have a glass or too, exchange stories, and just laugh. I can still hear him laugh, and we will miss him.
