The little things that I'll always remember about Mike - He was strong, barrel chested and had working hands as big as a catchers mitt. He was proud of his Guard service. He was all about cutting wood - firewood, logs, boards. I remember his Adirondack mouse trap in the garage - a bucket of water, a small stick and some bird seed. He was good at giving practical advice, the wisdom that could only be obtained from his farm upbringing, service to his county and work ethic. He told me once, "The best education you'll ever get is working a minimum wage job. It will tell you what you don't want to do." Best of all, he knew there wasn't a single problem that a hard days work couldn't cure. Rest in peace , Mike
I'll be thinking about Mike, Barb, Dennis, Steve and Heather today.
