Obituary of William Waters

William W. Waters, 60, of Milton passed away June 24, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany NY on March 25, 1953 , he was the son of the late Earl Lester Waters Sr. and Anna Marie Sager Waters. Before moving to Milton 12 years ago he resided in the town of Glenville. He was a Winder, employed by the G.E. Co. in Schenectady for 41 years, retiring in 2011. Bill was a former member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Glenville,the G.E. Company's Quarter Century Club, Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Saratoga and the B.P.O.E. Elk's Lodge in Ballston Spa. Bill was more than a casual football fan . He loved watching the New England Patriots! A vast collection of memorabilia was displayed in an article written by the Gazette Newspaper. PATRIOT Football! Bill also enjoyed many camping trips with family and friends. He leaves behind his beloved wife C. Joan Bigelow Waters of Milton, a step daughter, Tina Shaver of Albany and grandsons Alexander, Zachary and Gabriel Shaver; as well as several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday June 27, 2013 at 11 AM at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. just off Route 50, Glenville. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend and may call prior to the services Thursday from 10 AM to 11 AM. Entombment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Hospice, 315 S. Manning Blvd, Albany NY 12208.
