Your mom was a second mom to me. I have so many fond memories of our childhood, and growing up across the street from you. Your mom was robust, direct and loved her cats, Tippy and Tinkerbell!! I'll never forget her warm smile and wonderful laugh, especially when she would share stories. I admired her strength of spirit, boundless energy, and how she was always in perpetual motion, holding together the house, her job, and family. We had some crazy fun as kids, and I was thankful to have both Joan and Ed in my life. They always welcomed me into your home, and we shared many meals together. I was blessed to have them in my life and they will both be forever in my heart. xoxo, Kay
