Mr. Sturges (Sterling) was a powerful, strong, serious man who was also kind, compassionate and understanding. He was an incredible family man who cared so much about the health, safety, and well being of his entire family. He extended this guidance to me when I was around and treated me like I was part of the family. He was a mentor to so many people including myself. He had a moral compass that was unequaled in todays society. He was a man who accepted people as they were and empowered people to be all they could be. He provided me with guidance and wisdom when I really needed these things. Thank you Mr. Sturges for being who you were and accepting me for who I am. Due to his Veteran status, I must also thank him for his service as well as his sacrifice. Some of your greatest characteristics live on as I see them in all 5 of your fine children. You were an excellent Father, a wonderful man, and a fine friend to all who knew you. I knew Mr. Sturges for 45 years and enjoyed every minute I ever saw him ! God Bless the entire Sturges family. Sterling was one of the greatest role models in my life. He didn’t say much, but when he did it, was worth listening to. Thank you Sterling for all you did for me as a young man. Happy trails as you meet our Maker.
