Deepest Condolences to the Walkuski family on the loss of your Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa. Uncle Joe was a wonderful man. So many great memories of camping, fishing, and boating on Lake George with him, Matt, and Joe. We will always remember his laugh and warm smile. Love, John, Maryanne, Sean, and Kaitlyn Ogden

Our family has reminisced about Uncle Joe recently - my dad remembers Uncle Joe and him painting the 3-story house on Walnut Street together; painting the interior of the new Acorn Street house together with John; Uncle Joe giving mom away at their wedding and Missy, Connie, and Joan as flower girls; and I recall, after the boys came back from a camping trip, telling us that they had boiled corn and washed dishes with the same pot of water. Rest In Peace Uncle Joe.

I am so sorry for your loss. The Walkuski household in Stamford brings back good memories of your family and your welcoming home. I remember your Dad having backyard campfires, inviting neighborhood kids to your pool, being a good neighbor and friend to all. I believe Mr. Walkuski was the eldest and last remaining person from the old neighborhood. A life well lived. Lona.
