Dearest Amanda: Though I did not have the pleasure of meeting your mom, I can remember the stories you have told me about her kindness, especially her involvment with foster children (of which I was one many years ago). Barry, I knew Marcia only shortly. We worked together on Women's Weekend #62. (I made my weekend #61, so I am new to Cursillo) Marcia was such a gentle, holy presence during that weekend, always smiling. Her calm, gentle presence, in the midst of all the busyness of preparations helped keep us all on track and mindful of the fact that God is in charge. I am so sorry for your loss. Marcia was such a loving, kind and gentle friend. Words cannot express how much she meant to me and Pat. There are so many memories of how wonderful she was.
