Mr Lambert helped make the 3.5 years I worked at Coburg Village the best time. He may have been quiet but I know he cared about me as much as I cared about him. Mr and Mrs Lambert grew to be a 3rd set of grandparents to me and I was so sad to hear the news. It hurt my heart. I will never forget him and how he brought his own drink to dinner every night (something mixed with orange juice). Every so often he would forget his glass at the table after the meal and it always made me smile to find one in the glass racks. I will also never forget how after dinner he would just walk out of the dining room and sit in the hallway - to wait for his wife who would always take a quick walk around the dining room to socialize. I am so happy to say I got the privilege to know this wonderful man. After I stopped worked at Coburg I visited the Lamberts once and during that visit Mr Lambert gave me 2 flashlights, one for my car and one for my room. I was told when I got them that he gave them to everybody he cared about. That gift will forever be one of the best gifts I have ever received - I still have the one in my car and the other one is sitting right next to the pillow Mrs Lambert gave me before I went off to college. I was a careless 16 year old just trying to make money when you guys moved in, I instantly connected with you both and started to like my job way more than I did before. I am 20 now and think about you guys and the other residents I connected with everyday. The Lamberts helped make my first job absolutely the best it ever could have been. Always there to make me feel better even on my bad days. Mrs Lambert you know I am always here for you and just one message away. I cannot wait to hug you and bring you some wine when all this Corona stuff has calmed down. I Love You Both Forever and Always. I am so sorry you have to go through this Mrs Lambert but I am glad you have your family and fellow residents to keep you company and help keep your spirits up. ❤️
Much Love

How can I forget all the times I skied with Rick at Gore Mountain. He added a dimension to the sport that I did not think possible. The jokes he told on the ride to Gore and on the rides home. The same joke he told on the ten rides we had in the gondola in a day. Naturally he had a new audience each gondola ride. Except we were there each time also. He was great fun, and not a bad skier. Rick and I were the oldest of the last bunch of guys we skied with. While he and I let the younger(?) guys ski ahead of us and go on their merry way, he and I skied more slowly. In his last year, I remember thinking that he was slowing up quite a bit, and I was not surprised when he said that was his last year. I lasted two years after that. There were some great days skiing with Rick and Kerri and Charlie Thompson. Wonderful memories
And so, Ruth and I send our heartfelt condolences to the Rick Lambert Family and especially to the family members we know-
Delores, Kerri, Shawna, and Charley Thompsonn
May Rick Rest In Peace!

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Lambert family. We will always remember and cherish the many wonderful times our families had together here on the Ponderosa.
I especially miss Rick at our regular poker games, his quick wit and the many stories he would walk over to tell me when we were both working outside. The many rounds of golf we shared, but especially how patient he was with me when I first started to play the game.
Rick will never be forgotten, he will live on in fond memories.
Peace and love, the entire Gregory family.
