I worked with Lourdes at Medilabs and then Spectra East Labs first as a colleague and later as her manager. She was wonderful to work with, extremely intelligent and kind. She was very knowledgeable and enjoyed training her colleagues. We stayed in contact after I left the facility and remained friends. We both shared March birthdays and Lourdes never missed sending me a birthday or Christmas card. Since I did not received a birthday card this year, I called and left her a message, but did not hear back. I figured she was in Schenectady helping her sister. Called a couple of weeks ago and did not get a reply. What a shame that she was taken so soon! I will really miss your cards my friend and hearing your soothing voice. May you rest in God’s unending peace!
