Obituary of Anna Weller

Anna C. Weller (Buckhoff), 94, of Kingsway Arms, formerly of Scotia, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2013, with her loving family by her side. Born in Coxsackie NY she was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Isabel Simeon Buckhoff. She was a graduate of Coxsackie high school and Albany Business College. Anna was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Scotia, its' Rosary Society and Quilting group. Anna was predeceased by her husband Leland T. Weller Jr., in 1989, her brothers; John, Michael and Peter Buckhoff and her sister, Isabel Slagus. Survivors include three step children: Karen (Jack) Sleeter, Keith (Sharon) Weller and Kristine Weller; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Josephs Church, First St. Scotia. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the mass and may also call on the family Friday July 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Scotia-Glenville. Interment will be on Saturday at Park Cemetery in Scotia. Memorial contributions in Anna's name may be made to St. Josephs Church, 45 MacArthur Drive, Scotia NY.
