Ellen was so talented, and what we loved most about her was her willingness to teach us whatever she was doing. I remember sitting in a chair in the TV room while she ironed one of Chuck’s shirts, I forget the conversation but at the end, I was able to iron one of Chuck’s shirts, properly. She made picnics out of everyday lunch, she taught me to cross-stitch and later helped when I wanted to make an Icelandic sweater and no one could bake better ! She will always hold a special place in our hearts - for all she contributed to our lives- Rest In Peace sweet Aunt.
