Nick and girls, Mo was a wonderful OTA and fun to have worked with at Maria College. She was very knowledgeable and compassionate, and loved by the students. I had lost track in the past few years, but have very fond memories of Maureen.
MS is a nasty disease, as we knew (Bills Brother died 5 years ago of it) and Maureen was a trouper, doing all she could in spite of the disease. We send our sympathy for your loss.

Nick and family---------we were so sad to read that Maureen had passed. She was an inspiration to many people throughout the years especially in the Scotia community. I had several telephone conversations with her and remember hearing in her voice how proud she was of Nick, Rachel, Sarah & Laura. I loved her stories from work and home. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Please know that she will be with each of you and remembered lovingly by her friends.

Nick and daughters - I was saddened to hear of Maureen's passing. Her loss will be felt by many. I am so glad to have met the two of you all those years ago. Her spirit and courage was admirable. Her commitment to family was only matched by your commitment to her. I will always remember seeing her in her wheelchair at Holiday On The Avenue right before having your daughter. From the nursery school to the high school, she stayed involved. She wanted to live life the best she could, and she accomplished that. You did a wonderful job Nick of caring for her and raising the girls. I remember those conversations at the ungodly hour of 6am at the gym years ago. I never knew she was an author and will be sure to look up the book. I believe she has found peace and will continue to look down on all of you with love and caring, as she always did. Nick, Rachel, Sarah and Laura... I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I am so lucky to have had the chance to get to know Maureen, both as a sub in my classroom and as a loving mom supporting her girls at tennis matches. She was always so warm and friendly and positive. The students enjoyed her as much as I did!
