Obituary of Angela R. Saddlemire
Angela R. Saddlemire, 73, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2020 at her home in Edmonton, KY. Born in Oneonta, NY she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Charlotte Alexander. Angela grew up in Schenectady and attended Mont Pleasant School. She was a dedicated CNA and home health aide for many years. Angela married the late Robert Saddlemire on July 4, 1975. She was an avid bingo player, loved dancing, sewing and crocheting. Above all, Angela loved her family and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and warm smile.
Angela is survived by her daughters Jolene Bariteau (David), Charlene Healey (James) and Nadene Holley (Danny); her stepchildren Robert Saddlemire, Frank Saddlemire and Peggy Sue Tobin (David). She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a recently found half-brother, Bill Smith (Carol) along with many nieces . Angela became the adoptive “Aunt Angie” to many!
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert Saddlemire and brothers Richard Alexander and Lewis Alexander, Jr.
Calling hours for Angela will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 10am-12pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. A funeral service will follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park , Colonie.
