I was lucky enough to be her daughter in law. I know she loved me and worried about me. She taught me how to make carbonara, which people swear is the best they ever had. Taught me to make a roast. Gave me kitchen tools. The whole family is quite wonderful

Dear Linda, Cameron and Alec,
Rita was a friend and a member of a group (from the SCSD) who shared many luncheons, dinners and birthday celebrations together and I'll always remember her kind and thoughtful ways. There was never a doubt that she enjoyed social get-togethers, going different places, visiting new sites, having novel experiences, going to/volunteering at Proctors and being with family and friends.
I pray that you'll find a place, in your heart, where fond memories and special moments will be forever stored and will bring you comfort. Most especially I pray, that you'll always remember how much you were loved.
My condolences to all,
Rest in peace, Rita.

Rita was my mother’s dear friend. I knew her my entire life. She spent every Jewish holiday dinner with us. When we did a head count of who would be there, she was automatically included because she was like family. When she began to not feel well, I would bring her the meal to her house. To this day, when I go by her old house, I always say hello to her. She was the loveliest woman. RIP Rita, say hi to my mom for me ❤️

I was fortunate enough to grow up with Rita's extended family, and have many fond memories of Rita over the years.
Always fun to be around on special family occasions, and was always so gracious and pleasant when I would visit her
I'll remember her laughter the most.
She will be missed.
Sending much love to Linda, Cameron, and Alec. So So sorry to hear this news.
Our prayers to all.
Love,
Tony, Stephen, Kristen and Jason Suraci

My Aunt Rita was a beautiful woman. She was always happy to see me. She made me feel loved. She was very close with my . Mom, Mary, her oldest sister. I remember them talking for an hour on the phone. I love her husband Al. I have fond memories of them especially up to camp in Galway. My aunt Rita loved to swim and would come swim with me. I being a baseball fan loved the story aunt Rita shared with me of Tom Lasorda. She got engaged to him. Gave his ring back because he loved baseball more!
