Obituary of Merideth Anne Maloy
Merideth Anne “Merry” Maloy, aged 74, of Glenville, NY, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 17th, 2021
Born July 20, 1946 in Niskayuna, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Phillips and Elizabeth Phillips (Atkins).
A graduate of Burnt Hills – Ballston Lake High School and Mildred Elley, she worked as a secretary at General Electric before raising her children. Merry then worked as a Library Para-Professional at Linton & Schenectady High School. She was a Golden Sheaf member of Glenridge Grange. She was also an actively involved, long-time member of the Scotia United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Howard Maloy, daughter Cindi Handy (Kenneth) of Queensbury, NY, son Mark Maloy (Jenney) of Becket, MA, 2 grandchildren, Kenneth and Madeline Handy, her brother Leonard Phillips Jr (Carol) of West Peabody, MA and 7 nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a private funeral service.
