Obituary of Alan DeCrosta

Alan DeCrosta, 74, of Schenectady passed unexpectedly on January 18, 2021. Born in Schenectady, to the late Fred and Jennie (Tagliaferro) DeCrosta. A 1965 graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, he played Varsity football.

For many years, he was the proud owner of DeCrosta’s Tavern. He was an avid bowler, who played in the Gazette League and a member of the Brace-Brook Sportsman Club. Alan loved volunteering his time as a coach for Scotia Little League. Alan enjoyed spending time at his North Creek Camp.

Predeceased by his wife, Judy Croce DeCrosta.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra (William) VonStetina of Redington, Florida; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
