Obituary of Marilyn J. Angers

Marilyn J. Angers, 87, passed away peacefully on February 21,2021 at Glendale Home. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (DeSorbo) Cipriano. Marilyn was a 1952 graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and went on to continue her education at Parsons School of Design in NYC. Prior to becoming a homemaker, she worked at her family’s business, Cipriano’s Paint Store as an interior designer. Marilyn married her beloved husband Benjamin “Ronnie” Angers on September 6, 1964. She was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Scotia. Marilyn enjoyed word puzzles, crafts, the family camp on Sacandaga Lake and spending the winters in Oldsmar, Florida. She also adored cooking, especially sauce and meatballs and watching the sunsets. Above all, Marilyn loved the time she was able to spend with her family, notably her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ronnie Angers; children Randy Angerosa (Christine Walker), Darren Angers and Maureen Rossi (Michael). Her grandchildren Domenico “Nico” Angerosa, Dante Angerosa and Gabriella Angerosa, Brother and sister-in-law Lenny and Louise Angers, nieces Cheryl Angers, Nadine Toma and Renee McDonald and great niece Danielle Parente also survive.
Funeral services for Marilyn will be private at the convenience of the family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church in Scotia with interment at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
