Obituary of Catherine "Cathy" Bezio

Catherine “Cathy” Bezio, 77, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Niskayuna she was the daughter of the late William and Vivian (Biagi) Galaise. Cathy was a 1962 graduate of Linton High school. She retired from Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after many years of working as a food server. Cathy was married to her beloved late husband Thomas Bezio for many years prior to his passing in 2008. She enjoyed traveling to Maine, going out to dinner and watching Law and Order SVU and Family Feud. Above all Cathy will be remembered for her caring soul and the love she had for her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister Diane Nappi (Carl), her nieces and nephews; Michele Saffer (Joel), Robert Nappi (Katie), John Nappi (Amy) and Chris Nappi (Heather). Also surviving are 12 grand nieces and nephews, one great grandniece and her feline companion Miss Kitty.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 12pm to 1pm at the Glenville Funeral Home 9 Glenridge Road Glenville. A funeral service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
