Dear Lisa, Grace, Katie, Julia, Sarah, and Bradley,
I'm so sorry to hear of the untimely passing of your husband and father. I came to know him when Grace was volunteering at the Salvation Army breakfast program. He would drop Grace off at the soup kitchen and, more often than not, accompany us inside where, much to the manager's delight, he would grab an apron and hair net and take over at the griddle, scrambling the eggs and flipping the pancakes. His energy and humorous banter brought the place to life, and the kids and guests adored him. I'll always remember and be grateful for those acts of kindness. My love and condolences to you all.
