Obituary of Eva Jane Meader

Eva Jane Meader, 85, passed peacefully away on June 11, 2021. 

She is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Joel William Meader.

Eva graduated from Albany Academy for Girls in 1955 and from Garland College, Boston in 1957. 

She was a working artist who displayed her work in various local galleries. Eva was a member of the Mohawk Valley Art group, Saratoga Art Association and Colonie Art League. She belonged to Romano Studio and Misty Morning Studio. 

If she was not painting, Eva enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Louise Bebee Garden Club. She also belonged to the Rexford Women’s Club and entertained in local senior centers with dancing and singing group, the Grayairs. 

Survived by her daughters, Marybeth (John) Wall and Valerie (Ron) Sandroni; grandchildren, Ronald and Isabella Sandroni, and Elaine Wall. Predeceased by her parents, John and Mary McLauchlin and brothers, Fred McLauchlin and Covert McLauchlin.

Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.
