Obituary of Dorothy H. Burbank

Dorothy H. Burbank (Haner) went to be with our Lord, August 7, 2021. She passed away peacefully at home with her family present at 101 yrs. old. She was born in North Troy, NY on July 1,1920. She was such a wonderful mom, mother in law, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and friend to all. Daughter of Donald Haner and Laura Nixon Haner.                  

She has was a faithful member of Rotterdam United Methodist Church, formerly Fishers Methodist Church of Rotterdam,NY. She loved our Lord God and was a Christian in every sense of the word.                                                                    She enjoyed cross stitch, crocheting,baking and was an avid reader. She retired from Sears Roebuck after being the manager of the Catalog Department for 25 yrs.  

She was predeceased in death by her Parents, her first Husband Nichalos Palombo, her Sisters, Joyce Haner, Marjorie Faber, Donald Haner (Brother), Daughters, Elaina Frazier, Laurie Dickinson and her Husband Eugene Burbank.                                                                                       

Survivors include,Brother, Robert Haner of Northville, NY, Evelyn Hewitt of Esperance NY, Beloved Son Wayne Palombo (Bobbie Jeanne) of Rexford,NY. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Lisa Albertin (Shawn), Dana Palombo (Violet), Jason Palombo (Jen), Jeff Glasser, Todd Glasser, Scott Glasser (Amy), Belinda Palombo-Gordon & Traci Flanders. 18 Great Grandchildren & 10 Great Great Grandchildren. 

A private graveside service will be at Schenectady Memorial Park to honor this wonderful woman.
