Obituary of Patricia M. Cummings

Patricia M. Cummings, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 11, 2021. She resided nearly five years at Glendale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Pat was born in Schenectady on March 17th, 1927, the daughter of Harry and Betty Mitchell Cummings. She was a graduate of the former Draper High School and subsequently worked as a secretary at the General Electric Company main plant. Pat's qualities were substantial as a strong, dedicated homemaker and was a loving mother and grandmother. She resided on Carman Rd. in Guilderland for many years. St. Patty's day, the day of her patron saint's birthday, she celebrated her Irish heritage. Pat was a parishioner of St. Madeleine-Sophie Roman Catholic Church; a voracious reader and loyal supporter of the N.Y. Yankees throughout the years.

Survived by her beloved son Allan L. Scott (Al)  and cherished granddaughter Alissa, she also leaves behind several close cousins and extended family.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 17th at 10 AM at St. Madeleine-Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd. with Rev. James Belogi officiating. A private burial will take place in Keeseville, Clinton County, NY at the family plot.
