Obituary of Jonathan Latham Mestyanek

Jonathan Latham Mestyanek, 31, passed away suddenly on August 20, 2021.  He was the loving son of Terry L. Huebner (Conrad) and the late Roger Mestyanek,

Born in Honolulu, HI on June 28, 1990, Jonathan moved with his family to Cooperstown, NY and to  Burnt Hills, NY at age 11.  He was a graduate of BH-BL Central Schools. Since his childhood he was fascinated by large trucks and later became a trucker himself !  Jon attended Lincoln Technical Institute for Diesel Mechanics in Connecticut.

He was proficient at skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling as well. In the summer Jonathan was often on all terrain vehicles  and dirt bikes and continued riding his entire life.. His compassionate demeanor and love of animals was never more evident in his relationship with his  canine friend LOKI . 

 

Survivors include his mother Terri and her husband Conrad Huebner, his grandmother Susan and Forrest "Frosty" Misner of Matthews, NC; his aunt, Cindy Misner of Nazareth, PA and paternal grandparents, Donna and John Lamb. He will always be remembered by his loving family and many friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 PM on Saturday, August 28th, in the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call on the family prior from 3-5 pm. There will be a reception following the service at Glenville Queen Family Restaurant, located across the street.
