Obituary of Kurt Dallman

Kurt Dallman, 63, of Scotia passed away suddenly on September 8, 2021. Born in Gloversville, NY to late parents, Donald and Candace (Burton) Dallman. 

A 1976 graduate of Schenectady High School. In the summer of 1976, he enlisted in the United States Army. He was proud of his military service in the 82nd Airborne Division, as a paratrooper and helicopter mechanic.

Kurt loved the area he lived in, he was a member of Schenectady Civic Players for over three decades, where he served in many capacities including back stage work and acting. 

He was married to the former, Sharon Fitzpatrick, for 17 years. Kurt was a loving stepfather, brother and friend to many. For over 10 years he worked at Hannaford Market in Amsterdam, NY, as a meat cutter. 

Kurt will forever be remembered as a dedicated friend. The family thanks all his dear friends who donated towards Go Fund Me, especially Camille Muniz. 

To continue his memory is his wife, Sharon; brother, Garry; step-children, Jessica and James (Tracy) Tompson; as well as numerous friends who were like family.

Military honors will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Thursday, October 14th at 12 PM. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Glenville Funeral Home.
