Obituary of Richard W. Fox

Richard W. Fox, 84, passed away suddenly on September 28, 2021. Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan he was the son of the late Wilbur and Sara (Sutherland) Fox. Richard was a 1955 graduate of Mount Clemens High School and proudly went to defend his country in the United States Air Force from 1955 – 1959.  He was a dedicated employee of the Federal Aviation Administration, retiring in 1991 after 35 years of service. Richard married his beloved wife Brenda S. (Roberts) Fox on July 16, 1983. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, and enjoyed his floral gardens. Richard also enjoyed woodworking and lending a helping hand to others. While living in Florida, he served as a Deacon at the First Baptist Church at the Villages. Above all Richard enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Brenda Fox, his children Eric Fox, Heidi Fox, and Richard Fox, his stepchildren Patricia Sarubbi (James), David Lovejoy (Amy), and daughter in law Karen Lovejoy. Richard is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers Robert Fox (Alice), Jerry Fox (Luanna), sister Linda Hewlett along with several nieces and nephews.
