The last time I saw Gloria & Joe was when we were on the annual GEWC bus trip to Ogunquit, ME where we stayed @ the beautiful Anchorage By The Sea hotel. It is located directly behind the famous Marginal Way. Once we had a bouquet of flowers we wanted to toss into the Atlantic in memory of either Pat Reith or Betty Reich who had planned & gone on this trip for many years but had passed away. We tossed the bouquet into the ocean however, it landed on the rocks. But never fear, Joe climbed over the railing, went down on to the rocks, was able to reach the bouquet & he tossed it into the ocean successfully. Leave it to Joe - he was a trooper; he will be missed. My condolences to the family; may Joe Rest in Peace.
