Obituary of Nancy Marie Wallace

Nancy Marie Wallace, 80, departed this life to meet her Lord and Savior on November 15, 2021. She was married to Hugh Fredrick Wallace “Fred” for 55 years prior to his passing in July.

Nancy attended Regina High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and went on to continue her education at the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Medical Technology. Nancy married Fred Wallace in November 1965 and began her career as a Mom and a Medical Lab Technologist at St. Clare’s in Schenectady and Saratoga Hospital, retiring in 2010. In Nancy’s spare time she enjoyed the American Volkssport Association, playing bridge, camping in the Adirondacks, travelling in their RV across the country in retirement, kayaking, hiking and golfing.

She also volunteered at Proctors and Hospice.

Nancy is survived by her son Kenneth M. Wallace of Efland, NC, daughters Colleen M. Breault (Brian) of Scotia, NY, Susan E. Shaver (Michael) of Thomasville, NC and Kathleen M. Bellamy (Gregory) of Scotia, NY. Additional survivors include 10 grandchildren, six grand-dogs and six great-grand dogs.

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 6, 2021 at 11am at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road Glenville.
